It's time for a win

Panathinaikos have a tough time lately, despite their impressive start, the previous rounds could justify it. They traveled to Heraclion where they suffered a 3-1 defeat against OFI, after a really bad performance. They conceded the first goal of the game, they tied at 36', however, home team scored again before the halftime. In the second half, the 'greens' seemed having no plan and conceded their third goal after an hour of game. Despite all these, the team have the faith in getting back to successful results again.

Atromitos are in the second place of the table again, after their win 4-2 against Ari in Peristeri. The end of the game was a goal fest. They were superior almost during the whole game and they opened the scoreline from 16' and after the missed penalty from their opponents at 56', they scored again. In the dying minutes of the game both teams scored another 4 goals(!) in a crazy way, until the final 4-2. Atromitos are considered now as one of the top teams in Greece and they will fight even for the second place, that leads to Champions League qualification rounds.

This is an important match for both teams. On the one hand Panathinaikos target the win to secure their place in the first five and on the other hand Atromitos have proved that they can be a difficult opponent for everyone. I think that the home team's motive is stronger and they're closer to win.
