It's 'wolves' oportunity

River Plate are trying to pull themselves together after the episodes in Buenos Aires. The second final game of Copa Libertadores didn't start due to River's fans misbehavior. They attacked the bus which was coming to Monumental and many players of Boca were injured so the match was cancelled. CONMEBOL decided the new date of the game (8 of December) that will certainly not take place in Argentina. They haven't played any game in the League from the beginning of the month when they were defeated 1-0 from Estudiantes in an away match. Furthermore, they eliminated Sarmiento de Resistencia in the previous round for the Cup. Scocco, Quintero and Rodrigo Mora are still out. 

Gimnasia won 2-1 Boca Juniors in home but the next three games had unsuccesful results. First they suffered a 2-0 loss from Belgrano in Cordoba, then a 0-3 defeat against first-placed Racing Club in home and finally, the previous Wednesday, they were defeated 0-2 from San Martin. They managed to eliminate Boca Juniors in the last 16' of the cup by winning 0-1 while in quarter finals they drew 1-1 with Cordoba in regular time and won 3-4 at penalty shootout. Team's coach Pedro Troglio knows that this is the right time for his squad to win River and qualify. 53 years old manager will have the best starting line in his contention.

River were affected from what happened in Argentina's capital for sure. Their goal is to conquer in Copa Libertadores especially against their most hated opponent. Everyone's though will be at the upcoming game. The fact that they won't play any game for two weaks may affect team's performance. Gimnasia will be ready to surprise everyone and ge the ticket for Cup's final. They are a strong team and they can be a difficult opponent for River.
