Japan face a huge challenge

Ecuador didn't manage to cope with Uruguay and Chile in their two first games of the 3rd group. Their huge defensive mistakes led to back-to-back defeats. Any hope for qualification to the knock-out games is now lost. As there is a disappointment in their country for the team's journey so far, it is possible that coach Hernan Gomez will be sent off after the end of this tournament. 

The National team of Japan have a unique chance to make history in Latin America. They definitely want a win tonight, in their last game of the group stage, to be included in the two best third teams of the three groups. At the moment, Japan's realistic goal is to register a better goal-difference than Peru who finished with 4 points and a 3-6 goal difference in their group. Only one point and 2-6 goals is their record out of the first two games, but it's up to them to win with more than one goal difference to qualify at Copa America's quarter-finals. 

Japan will use up every possibility to reach their goal, playing offensively. On the other hand, Ecuador will not be indifferent at all, respecting their history. They are a team that can certainly score with ease. Goals are expected tonight, over 2.5 goals is my call.
