Junior are striking back

Deportivo Junior is in the 6th group of Copa Libertadores without a single point after four rounds. They couldn't even score in the first four games of the group. Their defeats to Palmeiras (0-2), San Lorenzo (1-0), Melgar (1-0) and Palmeiras (3-0) have placed them in the rock bottom of the group. After this unsuccessful start the 'Colombians' have to fight for the third place of the group with two games. In their domestic League, Deportivo Junior have played three consecutive bore draws, the most recent one vs Deportivo Pasto at their home. They can't score with ease and they have to improve it to achieve their target. No missing players for them in tonight's game.

No one expected that San Lorenzo of this season would be on the first place of their Copa Libertadores group with three wins and a draw. They had a bore draw with Melgar in Peru and they won 1-0 Junior, 1-0 Palmeiras and 2-0 Melgar at their home. They want to keep the first place, so they will probably face an easier opponent in the knock-out stage. Their journey is not that successful in Argentinian Primera Division where they finished 23rd, but based on thd relegation table they avoided the relegation. Victor Salazar is suspended and won't perform tonight.

Junior are searching for their first win in the Copa Libertadores group stage. San Lorenzo have managed to stay undefeated on top of the group by playing as much as needed to bag the points. I expect them to lose at this point and Junior to get their first points. Home win at 2.10 will be my call.
