Juventus vs AS Roma Match Preview

Juventus faces AS Roma for the 21st round of the Italian Serie A.

Juventus prevailed easily over Sampdoria in the previous round by 2-0. Their overall performance was far better than their opponent and deservedly got all three points. The defending champions, Juventus, are currently placed 4th in the league table with a total of 39 points after 20 rounds played, having 7 points less from the league leaders, Milan, but they have also one game in hand.

In the recent cup game against Inter midweek, Juventus won 2-1 on the road, and they are now one step closer to qualification. The second leg will follow next Tuesday in Torino.

In the previous round, Roma prevailed 3-1 over Verona on the road. The visitors totally dominated in the first 30 minutes and scored 3 goals. In the second half, they focused on their defense to secure their victory, and Verona only managed to score once.

After this result, Roma remained at the 3rd spot of the league table with a total of 40 points, being just 6 points away from the league leaders, Milan. 

Juventus continues their fight to become once again the champions of Serie A, while Roma also chases the dream to reach the first spot. However, there is a big quality difference between the two sides, and Juventus is the favorite to win here. The home side to win is my call for this one, offered at 1.78 odds.
