Juventus vs Cagliari Match Preview

Juventus will be hosting Cagliari at Allianz Stadium for the 19th round of the Italian Serie A.

Juventus is in 7th position, six points behind a Champions League spot. After an average start to the season, they are currently in very good form as they have won four out of the last five games played. They won their last game by two goals to nil against Bologna but they did not do it comfortably as Bologna had the most possession on the ball and had more attacks.

Juventus will be without their best player Chiesa as he is still recovering from a muscle injury. Danilo, Dybala, and Ramsey are injured too. Chiellini is doubtful for this game but the squad of Juventus is very strong and the players who normally sit on the bench are also talented.

Cagliari has a terrible season as they are in the relegation zone, just one place above the bottom. They have collected just ten points from 18 games played. They were hammered by four goals in their last game which was against Udinese.

Marin is suspended for this game due to a red card while Rog, Ladinetti, and Strootman are injured.

Juventus had the lead at the break in their last game and Cagliari was behind at the break in their own game. I expect the same here, odds do not look bad at all for the hosts to win at halftime.
