Larissa vs Aris Match Preview

In a match under difficult weather conditions, Larissa couldn't get a positive result in Xanthi's home ground. Despite opening the scoreline on the 64th minute, the home team scored twice in the next five minutes and won the game by 2-1. After this bad result, Larissa stayed at 22 points and dropped down back at the 10th place of the table.

Aris was impressive in the Thessaloniki derby against PAOK, winning 4-2 quite easily, after a very good performance. Despite being back in the scoreline from the first quarter of the match, they were hasty and effective getting advantage of every chance they created to get this great result. They have now reached a total of 25 points and climbed up to the 4th place in the standings. In their midweek tasks for the round of 16 of the Greek Cup, they won against Xanthi 1-0 away from home and took a significant lead, to qualify for the next round of the competition.

Larissa are always strong at home and fancy playing aggressive football. Aris, though, have been in great form lately and they are deservedly placed in the top-four of the table. I expect a fast-paced game with a lot of goal attempts from both sides. Both teams to score is my call in this one.
