Las Palmas vs Castellon Match Preview

Las Palmas face Catellon for the 7th round of the Spanish La Liga 2 at the Gran Canaria Stadium.

Las Palmas performed well in the previous round, when they won 2-0 over Almeria. The goals of the match were scored one in each half, both by the 29-year-old Sergio Araujo. Jose Pepe's team were effective in the pitch and deservedly got all three points. Their opponents struggled a lot through out the game and they could have conceded more goals.

A light rotation is expected for today's game by the 57 years old manager of Las Palmas as the task for the players is heavy since the La Liga 2 has a total of 42 rounds. If the hosts win here, they will reach the 3rd place in the league, being be just one point away from the top of the stadnings.

On the other hand, Castellon were unlucky in the previous round against Lugo. Their goal was disallowed, exactly the same was happened against Leganes a few weeks earlier. The match was about to end up with a draw, but at the added time scored the winner. 

Oscar Cano's team is currently sitting at the middle of the table, having 8 points after 5 rounds played in the leage. The suspended Victor Garcia is unavailable for tonight's encounter. 

Las Palmas is currently in a great run and they definitely have the upper hand to win due to home advantage against Castellon. Although, they lack of quality and experience but considering their performance against Almeria, I think that they are closer to take all three points.
