Lazio vs Juventus Match Preview

Lazio is ranked at 9th place with 10 points and comes a bit inconsistent after two wins a draw and two losses over the last five matches. Even the Champions League hasn't gone smoothly for them with a win and two draws in three games. The biggest problem for this match will be the absence of some key players as Lucas Leiva, Immobile and Strakosha got a negative response from health authorities and will not be able to play. Alongside them, they will miss Lulic, Vavro, and Radu because of injury. So they will miss their best striker and the goalkeeper which will be replaced by Reina. Having to face Juventus is a tough challenge in every moment and having to do it now with all these injuries I see an even more difficult task ahead of them.

Juventus, on the other hand, is ranked at third place with 12 points and comes after two wins and three draws over the last five matches. Lately, they are regaining their best form and with Cristiano Ronaldo back they immediately scored eight goals in two games. With 14 goals scored so far they have one of the best offensive sides in the league averaging at least two goals per game and finding a rival in difficulty I expect Juventus to make use of that fact. In attack we should see the duo Cristiano Ronaldo - Morata who seem to work pretty well together, backed up by Kulusevski.

In conclusion, I think Juventus can win this match or get at least a draw out of it. Lazio was already having a hard time in the league against average teams and being hit by coronavirus cases will only make things worse for the team. Juventus are the favorites to win here, in fact, they won four of their last five matches on the road against Lazio.
