Leicester vs Brighton Match Preview

Leicester welcomes Brighton for the 12th round of the English Premier League.

Leicester is coming from a big overturn in the last match over Sheffield United, where they took the win by scoring their second goal in the dying minutes of the game (2-1). Both sides played well in the first half, scoring one goal each, but the superiority of the visitors brought them to victory. With this result, Leicester got back to winning ways, after a bad streak of 2 defeats. They remain at the 4th spot of the league table, with a total of 21 points.

In theιr last Europa League group stage game, they faced AEK last Thursday. Leicester scored two early goals in the game and secured their victory, reaching the 1st spot of their group, as well as qualification for the last 32 of the competition.

On the other hand, Brighton is having their worst start in the last few years. In the previous round of the Premier League, they faced Southampton on the road, in a game where they opened the scoreline at the first half, however, they couldn't keep their lead and conceded twice till the final whistle.

The away team found the equalizer in the last minutes of the first half and scored the winning goal at the 81st minute. This was the 6th defeat for Brighton after 10 rounds played, remaining at the last 4 spots of the table with just 6 points.

The hosts are deservedly the favorites here, considering the quality of these two sides. Brighton may are on a very bad run, but still, their attack has been more than effective in their away matches and I expect to see a goal from them here. Over 2.5 goals to be scored is my call for this one, offered at 2.00 odds.
