Leicester vs Fulham Match Preview

Leicester welcomes Fulham in the King Power Stadium for the 10th round of the English Premier League.

In the previous round. the hosts failed to get something positive against Liverpool, suffering a 3-0 defeat. In fact, they weren't solid at all in their defense and conceded 2 goals before halftime. When they finally found some balance in the game, it was too late for them.

This result put an end to their 3-win streak, and now Leicester is placed 4th in the table with 18 points. Today they will seek the three points as they have a good chance to reach the 1st spot again.

Last Wednesday, they played against Braga for the 4th round of the Europa League and managed to qualify for the next stage of the tournament, in a match where we saw many goals from both sides, leading to a 3-3 draw.

Fulham faced Everton in the previous round but failed to get even a point suffering a 3-2 defeat. The visitors had a really bad start in the game, as their defense was really poor and conceded 3 early goals, while they only managed to score once till the end of the first half. Furthermore, they managed to reduce their deficit to one goal (3-2) in the 70th minute, but they weren't so good to deserve the equalizer.

This was their 7th defeat after 9 rounds in the league, and now they are sitting at the bottom places of the standings with just 4 points.

Leicester was poor in the match against Liverpool, but still has a lot of quality and they are fairly placed in the top 5 of the standings. On the other hand, Fulham has a really difficult task to face in order to secure their presence in the Premier League. I expect a fast-paced game with many goals here, as Leicester scores with ease, and today they have to face the worst defense in the league. Over 2.5 goals to be scored is my call, offered at 1.75 odds.
