Leicester vs West Ham Match Preview

Leicester face West Ham for the 4th round in the English Premier League. 

Leicester had an impressive performance in the previous round, prevailing over Manchester City on the road with 5-2! They were back in the scoreline early in the game, playing quite passive football, however, they found the equalizer before the halftime. In the second half, everything changed, they took advantage of the defensive weaknesses of Manchester City and scored four more goals, reaching at an historic victory.

This was their 3rd victory after three rounds in the league so far, making the best start in their history in the Premier League.

West Ham's first win in the league was impressive. They hosted Wolves and prevailed by 4-0 after an excellent performance. They opened the scoreline at the 17th minute and had many opportunities to score another goal to double their lead. In the second half, their performance was even more effective, finding the back of the net another 3 times, reaching a comfortable victory.

However, midweek, Leicester did not succeed, they faced Everton for the League Cup and the 4-1 defeat left them out of the tournament.

Leicester's performances in the league so far show that they are in excellent shape. However, West Ham is also coming from a great victory where they played great football as well. I expect a fast-paced game with many goal-scoring opportunities from both sides. Leicester scores with ease but defensively they have a lot of gaps, and West Ham can take advantage of it and score.
