Linfield (Nir) - TNS (Wls) Match Preview

In this match of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, Linfield from Northern Ireland will play against TNS from Wales. In the first leg, TNS won 1:0 at home. 

Linfield is the biggest team in Northern Ireland. They won the title last season in the last round of the season. They have won four titles in a row and five in the last six seasons. They played well in the first leg. For sure they were not the worst team but were unlucky to concede in the second half. They had a lot of opportunities to score but TNS goalkeeper Connor Roberts was fantastic. 

TNS is the best team in Wales but in the European competitions, they never had any big results. They often play in the qualifiers of the European competitions but without much success. As I have stated they are the champions of Wales but the Welsh league is weaker than that of Northern Ireland. I doubt they will have the same luck in the second leg as they had in the first.

If there was no Connor Roberts in TNS goal in the previous match Linfield could have avoided defeat. They were the better team in that match and I expect them to play even better in this and win. I do not expect a lot of goals and the winner could be decided by one goal. I expect a narrow win for Linfield.
