Liverpool vs Chelsea Match Preview

Liverpool face Chealse for the 37th round of the English Premier League.

In the previous round, Liverpool suffered a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal, missing the chance of reaching over 100 points this season. They did a great start in the game, opening the score at the 20th minute, but in the last minutes of the first half, they got back in the score, conceding twice.

In the second half, they tried to equalize creating several opportunities but did not succeed, nothing changed untill the final whistle. 

After the end of tonight's game against Chelsea, Liverpool will be crowned champions, winning their first domestic league after 30 years!

Chelsea, even they had a mediocre performance, they prevailed 1-0 over Norwich, maintaining their goal of finishing in top-4 place of the standings. Now they are 3rd-placed, having 63 points in total. The one and only goal of the game was scored at the added time of the first half. In the second half, Chelsea had the control of the game and kept a great balance, securing quite easily the three points.
 
In the meanwhile, they qualified in the FA Cup final, as they prevailed in Sunday's semi-final over Manchester United by 3-1, after a very good appearance.

Liverpool is at their best and today they will try to combine their celebrations for the title with a victory. On the other hand, Chelsea's coming from a huge qualification and they will seek the three points to secure their presence in the top-4 and claim a ticket for the next season'sChampions League groups.

Provided the quality of these two sides, I expect a great match with many goal-scoring chances tonight, so my choice for this one is Over 2,5 goals to be scored.
