Liverpool vs Real Madrid Match Preview

Liverpool will be playing against Real Madrid at Anfield in this first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 football game. 

Liverpool has won two and lost two out of the last four games played. The football they have been playing this season is terrible, actually, this is the worst season for Liverpool under Klopp. In the last game against Newcastle, their opponents played for most part of the game with a man less but still created a lot of chances. 

The selling of Sadio Mane has really costed Liverpool, as his replacement Nunez has proved to an average player so far, he probably needs more some time to settle. Liverpool will be without Diaz, Arthur, and Thiag as all are injured. 

Real Madrid is in very good form as they have won all the last four games played. They won all these games by more than a goal. They are now in the second position in their league. 

Real Madrid will be without Mendy, Kroos, Benzema, and Tchoumeni. Tchoumeni is ill, Kroos has a stomach disorder and the other two remain injured. 

Out of the last five head-to-head meetings between these sides, Real Madrid won four and drew once. My prediction for the game is Liverpool to either win or draw. I am staking 3 units here.
