Liverpool vs Villarreal Match Preview

Liverpool will play against Villarreal in this second semi-final of the UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool beat Benfica in the previous round and they had also beaten Everton in the last game which was in the Premier League. They have a lot of pressure in the Premier League as they are in the second position, just one point behind Manchester City.

Liverpool, in this game, will probably be without Firmino who is suffering from a foot injury. Apart from this, they have no other injury or suspension issues and so Klopp could easily choose his best eleven without any problem as Firmino is not in the starting eleven most of the time after Liverpool had signed Diaz. 

Villarreal, on the other hand, shocked the world by knocking out one of the best Champions League teams in recent years, Bayern Munich. The 88th-minute goal by Chukuweze saved them from going to extra time and made sure Villareal passed that round. Villarreal have won two and drew two out of the last four games played.

Villarreal will be without Coquelin, Gerard Moreno and Alberto Moreno in this game. Gerard Moreno is their best player and he is their goal machine so by him not playing Liverpool would have a very good chance. The other two missings are also important for Villareal. I predict that Liverpool would lead at the break.
