Ludogorets (Bul) - Shamrock Rovers (Irl) Match Preview

Ludogorets will play at home against Shamrock Rovers in this match of the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers. Ludogorets eliminated Sutjeska Niksic and Shamrock eliminated Hibernian. 

In my opinion, Ludogorets is the better team here. The Bulgarian League started and Ludogorets won in both rounds. They did not concede a single goal. Sutjeska also was not able to score against them in two matches played. Ludogorets lost only in two matches in 2022 at their home stadium in Razgrad.

Shamrock was impressive against Hibernian. But Hibernian was one of the weakest teams in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. Irish champions will play in this one without Jack Byrne, a midfielder who is their best player as he remains injured. Without him, they will have a lot of problems with moving the ball around the center of the pitch. 

Ludogorets has more experienced players. They almost qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage last season when they lost to Malmo in the last round. This time I believe they will have a better season, however, it will not be easy tonight because Shamrock is in good form.
