Lyon - Auxerre Match Preview

Lyon will play against Auxerre in this match of the French Ligue 1. Auxerre returned to the football elite after waiting for 10 years.

The home side is still unbeaten after three rounds played. They were down 1:0 in their last round match, but Moussa Dembele scored the equalizer in the 87th minute of the match. At their stadium, Parc Olympique Lyonnais, they have won six matches in a row. Moussa Dembele is their best player and he has scored at least a goal in the last 8 matches he has played for his team.

Auxerre has returned to Ligue 1 after a long absence. After the defeat in the first round, they improved their performance a lot and won 7 points in the next three matches they played. Despite their good start, I do not think that they will be able to avoid defeat tomorrow. 

Lyon will try to forget quickly the match against Reims. They were the better team but still were not able to win despite Reims receiving a red card. Lyon will take control of the match early on and they should be able to overcome Auxerre.
