Manchester City vs Borussia Monchengladbach Match Preview

Manchester City continues their great campaign in the English Premier League, coming from a 0-3 win over Fulham in the previous round. In the first half, Man City struggled to break through Fulham's defense, but when they managed to open the scoreline and things got a lot easier for them. Currently, Manchester City seems to be the best team in Europe. 

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola made some decisive changes to his formation in the Champions League knock-out games, focusing on playing more defensively. For example, Joao Cancelo when City attacks perform as a fourth player in the midfield outweighing their opponents' midfield line. No missing players are reported for Man City tonight.

Borussia Monchengladbach is currently in very bad form, coming from 6 consecutive defeats. The recent news about their manager's new contract with Dortmund from the next summer shocked everyone in the club and had a negative effect on the players. Marco Rose is a very experienced manager, who has been on Monchengladbach's bench for many years and is the main responsible for their attractive football all these years.

Despite all these recent consecutive negative results, I think that Mönchengladbach deserved at least a point in the previous round against Augsburg. Quizera, Kramer and Musel are unavailable for tonight's game.
