Manchester United look to continue their emphatic return to form

November was full of promises for Newcastle's fans. Their start of the season was quite bad as they registered 10 games without a win until November, when Rafa Benitez's team were finally relieved after their 3 concecutive wins. However on December, Newcastle managed to get only a three-pointer in 7 games (1-3-3) and now they are in the 15th place of the table, having 3 more points from the relegation zone. Things are difficult for Spanish manager, as among the upcoming games in January are these against United, City and Chelsea.  

The new manager gave motive to the players and we can clearly see that United have made a successful change the past few weeks. The Scottish coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has only wins with his team so far, but their schedule was quite easy, as Bournemouth (4-1), Huddersfield (3-1) and Cardiff (5-1) are teams that belong to the second half of the table. Paul Pogba is unstoppable lately. He has already scored 4 times and he also assisted 3 goals to his teammates. M.Rashford won't be in the contention tonight, as he was replaced due to injury in the game against Bournemouth. On the contrary, Alexis Sanchez is 100% fit and will be in the squad, while E.Bailly is suspended.

United want to keep up with the positive results. Their 9 points in the past 3 games they've won during Christmas brought them 8 points away from the top-four teams. Tonight is their chance to come even closer, as they are playing vs one of the most weak home teans of Premier League, Newcastle have a 2-1-7 record in St. James' Park. The away win will be my call.
