Manchester United got humiliated against Liverpool at Anfield last week. They lost 7-0 and that is something that should not happen in any circumstances. After that, they got a valuable win in the UEFA Europa League. They played really well in that game and bounced back after that embarrassing loss. The fact is that after all their big defeats this season (Brentford, Liverpool, Manchester City) they reacted well and I expect them to play well in this match also against weak Southampton.

Southampton is probably the worst team in the Premier League. They don't have high-class players in their squad. Their best player is Ward-Prowse and he is mainly a free-kick and corner specialist. They are struggling this season and they are probably going to play in the Championship next season. They have changed two managers so far this season. In the last match, they got a win against Leicester but this will be a different game and much harder.

Manchester United is currently in third place and they will want to win and push for a Champions League spot for the next season. At Old Trafford, they are playing really well this season with 9 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss in 12 games. I expect them to win easily and continue their good form forgetting that match against Liverpool.
