Manchester United vs Burnley Match Preview

Manchester United will play against Burnley in this English EFL Cup game. 

Manchester United has won three out of the last six games played across all competitions. Dalot and Tuanzebe are injured and would miss this game, so Wan Bisakka might start at the right back position to replace Dalot. In addition, Eric Ten Haag needs to sign a striker as soon as possible to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. 

Varane and Lisandro Martinez will not play in this game as they both reached the final of the FIFA World Cup and should take some rest. Other players who played in the FIFA World Cup might also be rested and not rushed as they need to prepare for the next week's Premier League games. 

Burnley has won four out of the last five games played across all competitions but they play in the Championship. Kompany is their manager and he might make some changes as his team had a Championship game last weekend. 

Roberts was sent off in the last game against Middlesbrough and will miss this game. 

Both these sides played against each other in the Premier League last season and Manchester United won at Old Trafford by three goals to one but the game at Turf Moor ended in a draw. I expect Manchester United to start strongly here and lead at the break.
