Manchester United vs Chelsea Match Preview

While it is almost clear now that they will not play in next season's UEFA Champions League, they have got to try and secure their spot in Europa League. West Ham now sits only two points behind them and they can not allow another false step.

Chelsea, on the other hand, is ranked in third place with 65 points and comes in a better form after three wins and two losses over the last five matches. They are very close to securing a spot in the Champions League for the next season as they sit seven points above Tottenham but are also one game short so this distance could increase.

With 67 goals they have the third-best offensive side in the league and only teams like Manchester City and Liverpool did better than them. In the last five matches, they have scored a total of 11 goals averaging more than two goals per game while managing to find the back of the net at least once in each encounter. For them, it has been Mounts 10 goals - 9 assists and Havertz 7 goals - 2 assists as they have missed a real striker with Lukaku and Werner is underperforming.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score at least a goal here. Manchester United is in desperate need of a positive result and being at home I think they must net at least once now despite their poor run.
