Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Match Preview

Manchester United face Crystal Palace for the 2nd round of the English Premier League.

In the previous season, Manchester United achieved their main goal to win a top-four spot that gives a ticket in the groups of the Champions League. However, they lost every title they competed for, reaching the semi-finals of the English cup, as well as in the Europa League.

This is the first game for United in the new season, having just a single new signing from the summer transfers, Fan De Mpek from Ajax, aiming to reach the top four of the standings for one more season.

Crystal Palace began the new season with a victory, prevailing 1-0 over Southampton at home. The only goal of the game was scored in the first quarter, keeping their lead with ease till the final whistle.

In this game, they aim to repeat last seasons' success against Manchester United, when they won 1-0 at Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace will struggle a lot here and I expect the hosts to take these three valuable points with ease, scoring some goals. Over 2,5 goals to be scored is my call for this one.
