Manchester United vs Everton Match Preview

Manchester United faces Everton at Old Trafford  for the 23rd round of the English Premier League.

The hosts come from an impressive 9-0 win over Southampton last Tuesday, returning to winning ways after 2 games. Just a couple of minutes after the kick-off they were lucky enough to have a player more on the pitch, opening the scoreline at the 18th minute. Manchester ended the first half with a huge lead of 4-0. In the second half, Manchester United continued their amazing performance, scoring five more goals. After this outcome, they continue their fight for the title, having 44 points (3 points less than the league leaders Man City), currently ranked at the 2nd spot of the table.

In the previous round, Everton prevailed 2-1 over Leeds on the road. The visitors had a great start in the game and took a great 2-goal lead in the first half. They managed to keep their lead till the final whistle, securing all three points. After this result, Everton reached a total of 36 points and they are ranked 6th in the Premier League. 

This is a very interesting match, between two sides that come from great performances in the last few rounds. Manchester United definitely wants all three points here to get even closer to the title, since Man City will have a very difficult matchup tomorrow, facing Liverpool. Everton, on the other hand, is trying to finish into the top-four spots to win a ticket for the upcoming UEFA Champions League.

Since both sides have great quality in their rosters, I expect a fast-paced game with some goals to come. Over 2.5 goals to be scored is my call for this one, offered at decent 1.70 odds.
