Manchester United vs Tottenham Match Preview

As part of the 4th round in the English Premier League, Manchester United face Tottenham.

In the previous round, Manchester United won against Brighton at home by 3-2, scoring the winner in the last minute of the added time. It was a mouthwatering match with many changes in the lead. Finally, the luck was on Manchester's side, having seen the ball hitting their posts 5 times!

Midweek, however, against the same opponents, United faced no difficulties and won easily 3-0, qualifying to the next round of the League Cup.

Last week, Tottenham drew 1-1 at home against Newcastle. A really bad result for them, as they dominated for the whole 90 minutes, and except the goal, they saw the ball hitting the opponents' post twice in their counter-attacks. Newcastle were lucky enough, finding the equalizer from a penalty kick, in the dying seconds of the game.

It has been a hard week for Tottenham. On Tuesday for the League Cup, they managed to qualify through the penalty shootout against Chelsea, while on Thursday for the Europa League playoffs they crushed Maccabi Haifa and won by an impressive 7-2, taking the ticket for the group stage of the competition.

Manchester United continues to their winning ways, on the other hand, Tottenham's players need rest, as they have played too many games in the last two weeks.
