Manchester Utd vs Arsenal Match Preview

Manchester Utd has really made a bad start of the new season. They are ranked at the 11th place with eight points and come after a single win two draws and two loses over the last five matches. The thing is they are not showing a great performance. Even in Europa League they barely won 1-0 against Astana, while in the EFL Cup they needed penalties to get past through a week team like Rochdale. After failing to score against West Ham in the recent game, I think Manchester Utd will do their best to try and get a positive result in front of their fans. At their home, they have scored six goals in three league games, actually, they have scored at least a goal in each game played at home across all competitions so far.

Arsenal, on the other side, is ranked slightly better, at the 8th place with 11 points. They come after two wins two draws and a loss in the last five matches. The loss came against title contenders Liverpool, so understandable, but in all other games, Arsenal have played quite good. They have scored 11 goals in total so far, averaging almost two goals per game. A problem for them will be the absence of Lacazette, but they got back important players like Bellerin and Holding. Also with Auba and Pepe in their attack, I think they can score anyway.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score a goal in this match. Manchester United needs to absolutely avoid another loss and playing at home a goal is the minimum expected by them, while Arsenal has a very good offensive side which they have shown in almost every game this season. A 1-1 draw could be an option for this game.
