Marseille vs Strasbourg Match Preview

Marseille faces Strasbourg for the 35th round of the French Ligue 1 at Stade Vélodrome.

After the negative result against Nice, Marseille are on a good streak of 4 consecutive wins, with the most recent one being against Reims by 1-3 on the road, with Dimitri Payet having an impressive performance. Jorge Sampaoli's team are in great form, sitting 5th in the table with a total of 55 points.

The good news is that Duhe Caleta-Car is back and ready to play after his suspension for two games. Amawi remains unavailable, as well as Hiroki Sakai due to injury.

Strasbourg, on the other hand, registered 4 defeats, 1 draw, and just 1 win in the previous five rounds. These results caused them to drop a few ranks in the table. In the most recent round, they suffered a 1-2 defeat against Nantes at home. Currently, they sitting 6 points behind the relegation zone and have to fight till the end for their presence in the big league.

Thierry Laurey and his team are struggling in the last few weeks to get a positive result, but so far, we haven't seen any improvement. In the following game, they come up against strong Montpellier at home.
