Mexico are the favorites

Mexico continue their successful journey after getting the first place in their group. In the opening game, they registered a huge 7-0 win over Cuba. They kept up on this pace with a 3-1 win over Canada. In the third round of the group, they make a wide rotation, but that didn't affect negatively their performance, they won comfortable Martinique 3-2. Gerardo Martino's team is one of the two favorites for the trophy, along with the USA. They have a quality and experienced team. Hector Moreno won't perform tonight due to his injury.

On the other hand, Costa Rica made a good start in the tournament by winning Nicaragua (4-0) and the Bermudas (2-1), however, they suffered a 2-1 loss to Haiti in the third round, staying second in the group with 6 points. Things now seem to be quite difficult for Gustavo Motosas' team, as they will face one of the favorites for the title. Their defense proved to be quite vulnerable as they conceded easy goals from teams that weren't as strong as Mexico.

Mexico are on a great form and continue their journey towards the trophy. They are undoubtedly one of the favorites for the title. Costa Rica showed their weaknesses in the game against Haiti. I expect a comfortable win for Mexico, possibly with a three or more goal-difference.
