More wins for AEK

AEK got the three points of win from a traditional home the previous round. They won 0-1 Asteras in Tripoli. They were superior and hit the spot twice until Mandalos scored from penalty spot at 34'. Asteras hit the spot once just before the end of the match. Marinos Ouzounidis' team get what they want either way. They have a chance to make the 3/3 against Panionios while on Wednesday they travel to Amsterdam for the game against Ajax for the 1st round of the top tournament's groups.

Panionios were defeated 0-1 from PAOK in home the previous round. PAOK weren't superior but Panionios didn't take advantage of their missed chances and so they conceded a goal at 68'. With this defeated and the 2-2 draw with OFI, they have 1 point and a great need of points. Their unlucky to play against a difficult opponent like AEK this time in OAKA because it's hard to get a positive result out of it. Team's coach declared his satisfaction for his players but he admited it's the second time that his team didn't take advantage of their home.

AEK want the 3/3 in the League against Panionio so as to travel in a high flying mood to Netherlands to play against Ajax. Panionios had a strong performance the first two rounds but it's very difficult for them to stop AEK's 3/3. AEK are the favorite and their win will be my bet.
