Nantes vs Lyon Match Preview

Nantes and Lyon will play a really interesting match in this game week in French Ligue 1.

Nantes is currently doing really well as they have only one loss in their last six games. In Ligue 1 they are undefeated in the last three matches but they played against teams with less quality such as Auxerre, Troyes, AC Ajaccio. Nantes is also playing in the UEFA Europa League where they ended second in their group with Qarabag, Olympiakos and Freiburg. Nantes is currently 15th- placed but they are better than that and I am sure that they will start getting points in the upcoming matches.

Lyon is currently at 8th place having 7 wins, 3 draws and 7 losses. Their season is not going that good as they wanted to attack the top spots that lead to the next season's UEFA Champions League. They have 24 points which is 12 points less than 3th spot which a Champions League spot. This margin is big and it will be hard for them to cover it that but I believe they will start playing better in the upcoming games.

Both teams have quality but in my opinion Lyon has more experienced players like Tolisso, Lacazatte, Dembele, Boateng, Lovren and this experience could be crucial in this match.
