Napoli - Udinese Match Preview

In this match of the Italian Serie A, Napoli will play against Udinese. The home side is a big favorite to triumph in this match and I believe that they will deliver. 

Napoli won their last match in the league against the tricky team of Verona with 2:1. They are in second place in the league with 60 points won from 29 matches played. They are only three points behind the league leaders AC Milan. They are always tough to play against when they play in front of their frantic fans, though this season they won 'only' eight home matches out of 14 played in San Paolo. Across all competitions, they have won only one match at home out of the last five played. In the last ten matches played against Udinese at home, they have won in nine.

Udinese is in good form and is without a defeat for four matches in a row. Three of those matches ended as draws. They are in 14th place in the league with 30 points. They are far from the relegation zone. They do not play well on the road this season and have won only two matches in Serie A. They have only two wins in the last 15 matches across all competitions this season when they played on the road. 

As I have said, Napoli has won nine matches in a row at the home ground against Udinese. The last time these two played at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Napoli won with 5:1. With a win here they can tie with AC Milan at the top of Serie A.
