Netherlands - Belgium Match Preview

The Netherlands is at the top of the group, close to securing a place in the UEFA Nations League finals. They will need just one point from this match to get there. On the contrary, Belgium has to win by a four-goal margin to take first place.

The home side has won 13 out of a maximum of 15 points so far. The only match in which they did not win was against Poland, which ended 2:2. In the first round of the competition, the Netherlands literally destroyed Belgium with a 4:1. Depay and Koopmeiners will miss the match because of the minor injuries they suffered in the match against Poland. 

Belgium, after that defeat to the Netherlands, started playing much better. Still, that defeat will probably cost them the UEFA Nations League Final stage. They will play without their best striker, Lukaku, but Batshuayi replaced him well and managed to score in the last two games.

I do not expect the Netherlands to defend and try to win just the one point needed, but it is a possibility if they select not to risk that much. Both teams are playing attacking football and I expect some goals here.
