New ambitions for Aris

Last year was successful for Lamia who stayed in big level, even in the last rounds. The experienced manager Babis Tenes, whose contribution was very important, is still on team's bench. They have the same goals this year, first of all to stay in the league. The new signings will be very helpful. Among the newcomers are striker Jeronimo Barrales (from Asteras Tripolis), midfielder Bertoglio from Ordabasy, the attacking midfielder Karagounis from Zwolle and defensive midfielder Osman from Partick Thistle. Papadopoulos, Pitti, Wanderson, Omo, Acosta and Koutromanos resigned. In the most recent friendly game they were defeated 1-0 from Apollon Smyrnis.

Aris are coming back in Super League after 4 years. They came 2nd in Football League, just a step behind OFI. Team's managers quickly made some signings, starting from the coach. 64yo Paco Herrera is Spanos' substitute. Aris are now a team with new, qualitative and experienced players. Among others, Cuesta, Fran Vélez, Menéndez, Constantinidis, Nicolas Colazo, Javier Matilla, Migjen Basha, Bruno Gama, Nicolas Diguiny, Mateo García and Hamza Younés are the newcomers. Their performance in friendly game was pretty good, they weren't defeated in a single match.

Aris have many newcomers who need time to be 'tied' as a team .There is a great quality in the team and this year their goals are even higher. They could have a very good start in the league against Lamia.
