In the last season not only they managed to qualify for the playoffs finishing in the top-six but reached until the semi finals before falling to Champions Sydney.

With 24 goals scored they have shown a very good offensive side this season but in the last five matches they have scored only three goals which is quite far from their average. Fornaroli once again is expected to lead their attack as he has netted 8 goals so far for them.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score at least a goal here. Newcastle Jets needs to end this losing streak and I expect them to be motivated to do so playing at home. In front of their fans they have scored at least a goal in three of the last five matches. Perth Glory has got to aim for the three points and will not sit back in defense. I also expect at least a goal from them as they have proven their attacking skills more than once.
