Newcastle - Manchester City Match Preview

In this match of the English Premier League, Newcastle will play at St James Park against Manchester City. Newcastle have strengthened a lot during the summer, but they are still no match for the league champions from last season. 

Newcastle managed to win against newly promoted Nottingham Forest and also drew 0-0 against Brighton. Against Forest, they were the better team, but against Brighton, they were lucky enough not to lose. On a couple of occasions, their new goalkeeper Pope that signed from Burnley saved them from defeat.

Man City had a strong start in their effort to defend their title. They won both previous matches, actually, they won them in style, without conceding a single goal while scoring six. Alongside Arsenal, Manchester City is the only team that won in both rounds played in the Premier League.

Manchester City, after losing in the Community Shield, is starting to look like a team from the previous season. Haaland is in great form and along with Phil Foden will put huge pressure on Newcastle's back line. City has won six matches in a row against Newcastle, and I expect yet another easy win for them.
