Newcastle Utd vs West Ham Match Preview

Playing for the 33rd round in the Premier League, Newcastle host West Ham.

Newcastle had an impressive performance in their last game, when they prevailed 4-1 over Bournemouth. They did a great start and at half-time, they had already a double lead. In the second half, they continued at the same pace and extended their lead scoring two more goals, securing the three points.

With this victory, Newcastle reached 42 points, and currently, are at the 13th place in the Premier League standings.

West Ham took a great result as they managed to prevail 3-2 over Chelsea. Despite that they were back in the score since the 42nd minute, they managed to equalize shortly after. At the start of the second half, they took the lead. Chelsea found the equalizer at the 72nd minute, but at the dying minutes of the match, West Ham scored the winner.

Those three points kept West Ham out of the dangerous zone, as they continue fighting to extend their presence in the top league of English football, reaching a total of 30 points 6 rounds  before the end of the season. 

After the resumption of the Championship, Newcastle has been very fresh, combining great football and positive results. West Ham, on the other hand, come from an important victory and their motivation today will be high. I expect an open match with many goal scoring chances. My choice is Over 2.5 goals to be scored.
