Newcastle United started the season well by beating newly promoted side Nottingham Forest and then drew against Brighton in the second game. Newcastle will be missing in this one their best midfielder Shelvey through injury.

Newcastle signed recently Botman and Pope in this transfer window. The expectations are really high for them after signing many players and quality ones, and od course the transfer window is still open and they might add few more. 

Manchester City started their season amazingly by beating West Ham by two goals to nil and beating Bournemouth by four goals to nil. They are pretty happy because Liverpool failed to win both their first two games and they already have a very good lead now, early days though. 

Manchester City signed Haaland this season and he is already proving danger for the opponents' defenses. He scored two goals in his first game and gave an assist in the last one. Manchester City would be without Laporte for this game.

Both last two head-to-head meetings between these sides ended in Manchester City winning. They won by five goals to nil and by four goals to nil. My prediction for this game is Manchester City to lead at the break.
