Newcastle vs Manchester United Match Preview

This is the round of 19 of the English Premier League and Newcastle United host Manchester United at St James' Park.

Newcastle United have been so bad this season as they are in the relegation zone having collected just ten points out of 18 games played so far. The signing of Eddie Howe has not shown a big difference but things could change next month as they will sign some new players.

Newcastle would be without Dummett, Fernandez, and Lewis due to injury. Hayden would also miss the game but due to suspension. Newcastle have been out of form losing all the last three games played, getting thrashed by four goals to nil in their last game.

Manchester United are in sixth position but have two games in hand. They are unbeaten for six games under the new manager Ralf Rangnick. They are playing better under the German, actually, Ragnick likes pressing football and has implanted this style in his team.

Manchester would be without Pogba, but Varane could feature here as he has recovered. Cristiano Ronaldo is fit to play here and this would be a danger for Newcastle defense as Ronaldo has 7 league goals and he could easily score more. 

All the last four head-to-head meetings between these sides ended in Manchester United winning, scoring either three goals or more. Newcastle need to sign defenders in the transfer window as this is the position they are much weak. I expect Manchester United to win this game
