No winner in regular time

Gareth Southgate's England are probably the most 'fresh' English team hat I have ever seen in a big tournament, mainly consisted of young and talented players. But what makes the biggest difference now is the lack of 'arrogance' when English are talking about their National team. When England conceded a goal from Colombia at the last minute of injury time and went to penaltes shoot out, everyone thought for certain that once again England was meant to be eliminated. However this time the 'three lions' made it. Maybe it was better that their qualification came with this manner for their young players, since they were expecting for England to be eliminated at penalties shoot out. Despite that the goal that gave them the advantage, came from a controversial penalty, they had a better performance than Colombia in the whole 90 minutes and more chances to score. I couldn't know what would have happened if Latin Americans' superstar James Rodriguez was playing too. 

Sweden are a very organized team, maybe the strongest version we have ever seen from Scandinavians. A.Granqvist is the strongest centre defender in the tournament, along with his partner V.Lindelof, who was criticised in Manchester United. Celtic's defender M.Lustig is suspended and loses the quarter final game, but S.Larsson will be back. For any team to win this version of Sweden is a big challenge and if the Swedish were the same effective in attack, I would consider them as the No1 underdog team of the World Cup 2018. However there is a lack of talent in attack and is worth mentioning that first choice attacker Marcus Berg hasn't scored yet after four games in the tournament. 

Many people may remember that England couldn't win Sweden for many years, until EURO 2012, when they won twice, 1-0 and 3-2. The last game of the two teams took place the same year at the oppening of 'Friends Arena' in Stockholm. It was a friendly game where Sweden won 4-2, with Z.Ibrahimovic scoring of all of their goals. Especially the last goal was one of the most impressive in football history, actually I watched it today many more times in replay. S.Gerrard used to play in England, but today England are a different team.

England have better individuals than Sweden, but I will write once more that the team work done by the Sweds cannot be found at any other team in this World Cup. It is not hyperbolic to say that they look like the Greek team that made it at Euro 2004. Sweden traditionally is not afraid of England but it is more than certain that this time the "three lions" will not underestimate Sweds and respect their opponent. I believe that another game of England will not have a winner in the first 90 minutes. Another drama is expected in this World Cup. My choice is draw at regular time, why not a 1-1?
