Norwich vs Manchester United Match Preview

Norwich host Manchester United in the opening game in the last 8 of the English FA Cup.

Norwich are currently in the last place in the Premier League standings and everything shows that they will not be able to extend their presence in the top level of English football in the upcoming season. They are by far the worst team in the league and this didn't change even during the three-month break of football action in England. After the resumption they were defeated in their two outings.

In the previous round of the FA Cup, they won Tottenham through the penalty shootout, while before that, they sent off the competition Burnley and Preston, both away from home. 

Manchester United continues their amazing run, remaining undefeated for 13 games in all competitions. After the break, they drew against Tottenham followed by a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sheffield United. Their main goal remains the 4th position that gives a ticket to the Champions League in the new season, from which they are just 5 points away at the moment.

To reach the quarter-finals, Manchester United won Wolves (after a rematch), Tranmere and Derby, without conceding a single goal.

I think the guests have a clear lead in this quarter-final, against a team that aims to collect as many points as possible in the remaining 7 championship games, in order to avoid relegation.

Manchester United to win is my call here, as I expect the guests to prevail easy in this match, probably with a difference of more than one goal, covering the Asian Handicap -1.
