Offensive approach

Even if Basaksehir has a short history, playing only for the last 12 years in the Turkish Super Lig, they are among the big names of Turkish football. Last season they competed for the title, however, Galatasary proved to be stronger and they finally finished in the second place of the league. Their new challenge is a place in the Champions League group stage, having a new coach in their bench and a couple of strong signings in the recent transfer window. Their first opponent is Olympiacos, a team with many experiences in this level. Definitely, the Turkish team will look tonight for their first step, having in mind that next week's away game in Greece would be a hard task.

Olympiacos had a quite easy qualification in the previous round. After their bore draw vs Viktoria Plzen in Czech Republic, they had an easy night in the second leg, winning comfortably 4-0 in front of their fans. The Greek team have shown quite strong in their first official games after the preparation period, having already secured a spot in the Europa League group stage, in case that they will not succeed vs the Turkish team. However, the Champions League group stage is their main target, a competition that is definitely more prestigious. Even a draw would be fine for the Greek team tonight, next week's second leg would be a completely different game in front of their noisy fans. 

Basaksehir fancy playing offensive football in front of their fans, I do not expect something different in this one. The Greek team could take advantage of the empty spaces, they prefer playing with counter-attacks in their away games. Both teams have great offensive players, goals should be expected in this one.
