OFI Crete - PAOK Match Preview

OFI hosts PAOK for the 17th round of the Greek Super League.

OFI played almost the whole second half with a man less but managed to get a bore draw against Atromitos quite easily. That was a quite important outcome for the Cretan team as they try to enter the top-6 in the standings.

After 16 games played, OFI is placed on the 7th spot with 19 points, having 2 points less than the 6th-placed Asteras Tripolis.

PAOK performed well against first-placed Olympiakos in their midweek game, mainly at the second half, but finally the visitors found the equalizer (1-1). PAOK scored on 51', they had a few chances to double their lead, but they could not hit the target. One reckless moment was enough to get tied and missing the chance to shorten the margin from the first place. 

PAOK have 32 points and is 4th-placed right now, having one point less than Aris and AEK and 10 from league leaders Olympiakos.

PAOK are the favorites in this one, but the hosts perform well lately. Additionaly, PAOK cannot keep a clean sheet even when winning. I choose over 2,5 goals to be scored in this one at 2,18 odds with Betshop.
