OFI Crete vs Panionios Match Preview

OFI are on a great form from the beginning of the season and that is proved not only from their results but also from their ranking in the table of the Greek Super League. The team from Crete have amazing performances so far and they deservedly sit on the 4th place of the table. They prefer an offensive approach and create many opportunities in almost every game. In the previous round, they welcomed Asteras Tripolis after their defeat from Volos in the Leagueon the road. They conceded first, however, they managed to revert the game and eventually got the three-pointer. The young coach George Simos will have available again the talented attacker Dimitris Manos who is 100% fit.

On the other hand, Panionios' performances are mediocre. In the summer transfer window they had restrictions in transfers so they luck of new players and coach Nikodimos Papavasiliou has a difficult task to handle. Also the -6 points deduction is another negative factor and defintely stress Panionios' players.

Based on the performances of the two teams so far, OFI have clearly the upper hand. I believe that Panionios will not be able to keep up with OFI's pace and that the hosts will register another win one way or another.
