Although OFI suffered a 2-1 loss to Olympiakos at Piraeus in the previous round, they impressed with their performance. They were quite competitive and caused troubles to their rivals, especially in the last 20 minutes when they tried to find the equalizer. However, they didn't do so. Despite their defeat, OFI are still among the first places of the table having 13 points so far, while they are strong at home with 3/3 wins.

In the previous week, Xanthi did their best against Aris but they didn't make it. The guests opened the scoreline from the very beginning and that was quite enough to win with the narrow 1-0, while Xanthi registered their second loss. However, Xanthi still have a decent performance so far, sitting in the 3rd place of the table, with 15 points after 7 rounds.

It's a game between two teams who have started well in the Greek Super League this season. OFI are on a great run, especially when playing at their home where they fancy a more offensive approach and score with ease.
