Olympiakos Piraeus vs Panetolikos Match Preview

Olympiacos welcomes Panetolikos in a rather easy match for them, at Georgios Karaiskakis behind closed doors.

Olympiacos continues from where they finished last season and still, with good performances, continues to get victories with ease. In the previous round, they comfortably won against Asteras Tripolis by 3-0, who troubled them only in the first half, while something similar happened in the first match of the playoffs in the Champions League against Omonoia where they won by 2-0. 

Despite the changes to the roster, the Portuguese manager of Olympiacos kept the same formation in the team, with their usual solid defense, while in the front they are playing with patience and with a big percentage in ball possession, getting even through the hardest defenses.

On the other hand, Panetolikos will compete without any stress on their shoulders, as even a single point will be a very difficult task to complete for them. In the first round of the league, they had a solid performance and managed to share points with OFI.

However, the following round didn't go well for them, as they suffered a 0-2 home defeat to AEK, in a match where they were mediocre, actually, they did not manage to create a single chance in the target.

Olympiacos is clearly superior in this one and they could only lose by a miracle here. As expected, Olympiacos to win is offered at very low odds. So, I think that it is worth risking more here, selecting  HT / FT 1-1 at 1.80 odds.
