Olympiakos sit in 3rd place of the table with only one point after 2 games played in the 2nd group of Champions League (1 loss and 1 draw). They were satisfied with the 2-2 draw with Tottenham in their opening game but quite disappointed after their 3-1 loss to Crvena Zvezda in the previous round in Belgrade, although they opened the scoreline at the end of the first half (1-0). In the second half, they stood with a man less from the 58th minute and then they collapsed conceding three goals. In the Greek League, they are on top of the table, having 19 points after 7 rounds.

Bayern are proving their strength so far. They sit on top of the group, having 6 points after two matches played. In the first round, they registered an easy win (3-0) over Crvena Zvezda in Munich but in the second round, they exploded registering one of the biggest wins in the history of the tournament. Their incredible performance led to a 7-2 win over Tottenham in London. In their domestic league, they sit in 3rd place of the table, having 15 points after 8 rounds and need to try harder to reach one more title.

Olympiakos have to do their best for the qualification in the next stage of the competition, actually, they have to try pretty hard in each remaining game.
