Opposite directions

Ecuador's performance in the first game vs Uruguay was weak. It's worth mentioning that they were playing with a man less in the pitch from the 24th minute and they had already conceded a goal. After the sent off of J. Quinteros, they conceded three more goals. Their performances are quite average in 2019. They suffered two losses to Mexico and the USA, while they drew with Honduras and Venezuela.The missings of the midfielders Noboa (Zenit Saint Petersburg) and Montero (West Brom) is more than obvious in this tournament. Quintero is suspended.

Chile's performance was more than impressive in their opening game and the 4-0 win over Japan was the deserved result. However, Asians have sent a young team in this tournament. Considering that the last game of the group is against the other favorites, Uruguay, Chile have to win Japan tonight. Except for defender Mena, there will be no other missings for Chile.

Chile are undoubtedly superior as it comes to individual talent and if they perform as they did against Japan, they could probably register another win. Ecuador's defense can't cope with Chile who have quality. Chile to win is my call.
