Panathinaikos vs PAOK Match Preview

In the previous round, Panathinaikos win 2-0 over Larissa. Panathinaikos were better in the whole 90 minutes, they weren't pushed at all by the home team, and missed a lot of chances, especially in the first half of the match. The could have even extended their lead further. This was the 4th consecutive win for Panathinaikos in the Greek Super League, and after these results they climbed at the 4th place of the standings with 34 points.

Even they struggled a bit, PAOK prevailed last Monday in Toumpa over Volos by 1-0. The Greek Super League leaders did not impress with their performance, but a goal from the penalty spot in the second half, gave them their fourth consecutive win. In fact, with this victory PAOK reached the first place of the table again with 52 points, taking advantage of the missed points of Olympiacos against AEK.

Panathinaikos have been at their best since the beginning of the season and they combine lately their positive results with great football. PAOK are still at the top of the table, but they are coming from mediocre appearances. Considering the quality of both teams, I expect a match with many goals, so Over 2.5 goals is my call in this one.
