Panathinaikos vs PAOK Match Preview

Panathinaikos faces PAOK for the 2nd round of the Greek Super League playoffs.

Panathinaikos failed to get all three points in the opening game against Asteras Tripolis. They took a significant 0-2 lead at the beginning of the second half and seemed that tjey had secured victory but Asteras Tripolis reduced the scoreline at the 84th minute and with a very late goal at the added time by their goalkeeper they managed to equalize (2-2) .

Today they face PAOK and the will seek victory once again, as they did in their recent game of the regular season, aiming for a top-3 spot to return in the European competitions after so many years.

After their unsuccessful run at the Greek Cup, their only goal is to get a European ticket from the league, so every remaining match will be crucial for Panathinaikos.

PAOK had a very mediocre campaign in the Greek Super League, but their hopes are still alive for a European ticket. Things didn't go well for them and failed to compete for the title, so a European ticket is a chance for them to end the season well.
